So your company has annual reviews of all their employees, and you are a department manager. With a heavy sigh, you approach that specific month where they are all executed, trying to figure out how you will get all of these completed around your already busy schedule.
In addition, you are in the middle of your company’s SOC 2 audit. You are assigned meetings covering Criteria and Controls related to Employee Evaluations and Attrition. You wonder, how can these annual reviews somehow be integrated into the information that you will ultimately be collecting for the SOC 2 audit?
There has to be a better way to do all of this.
Well, there is.
Imagine that you have a software platform that houses your performance reviews, and your employees can fill them out. Within the program, you can also conduct your one-on-one meeting to review those evaluations. During this manager/direct report meeting, you, as the manager, can make any comments in the notes section of the evaluation, save them, and then share these annotated evaluations with the employee via an immediate, automated email.
Finally, when you are done with your group of employees, you can export all of these evaluations to a specific Control folder within the appropriate Criteria for your SOC 2 audit, placing them in a central location for the auditors to easily access.
At Work.software, we continue to think of ways to take some of these dreaded manual processes of the SOC 2 audit and save you time and effort completing them. Employee performance reviews are just one of them. Schedule a Meeting for more details.
